I am a journalist, writer, editor, and consultant specializing in travel, food, style, and all things Indianapolis. In January 2018, I added the role of "Mom" to that list. It's by far the toughest yet most rewarding job I've had yet. My boss is adorable.

Previously, I was the lifestyle editor of Indianapolis Monthly magazine and prior to that, I worked as a reporter, columnist, and "Adventuress" for the Indianapolis Star, where I was best known for my first-person accounts of experiences of things to do around Indy. I also hosted events, live web shows, and penned columns on cultural observances and living your best life (because I was raised on Oprah).

I serve as board member of Coburn Place: A Safe Haven for survivors of domestic violence, the secretary of the Indianapolis Museum of Art's Fashion Arts Society, and as a volunteer with the Patachou Foundation.
